Another atrocious day so I won’t detain you long. We awoke to rain and it continued until mid afternoon when it stopped, leaving behind just the foreboding and unyielding cloud.

Talking of clouds, todays clouds and rain did have a silver lining in that I was able to complete an activity sheet, finish an agenda and do one final check of a small book before sending it off to be printed.

Susan used the weather as an opportunity to retreat to her studio and immerse herself in her current projects. Barbara travelled back to Edinburgh today, arriving at 7.00om. She and David will be back down again next Sunday
