Beach Replenishment Programs

Virginia Beach has the oldest beach replenishment program on the East Coast of the US. They are constantly pumping sand onto the beach to protect the oceanfront hotels and tourist attractions from erosion.
We are headed home tomorrow. I will miss watching the dolphins.
