Croome Court

We went to Croome Court this morning to meet Chris and Jean.   It was nice enough to sit outside with our coffees at first, but then the weather changed and we moved inside. The problem with the cafe at Croome is it's very  noisy, the ceiling is low and the acoustics are not  very good.  They had brought their dog, Pudding, along and we had a little walk to the church.   There was a strong, cold wind blowing once out on the open grounds.

Driving home was a bit of a nightmare.  A lorry on the  M5 had an accident and two lanes were blocked off.  So traffic was diverted off the motorway and onto the A38, our road back to Worcester.   Instead of queuing with the other traffic we attempted a diversion through back roads and villages and ended up back at Croome where we took a different way home via Pershore and avoided the massive delay.
