Coffee Shop

Ramadan 2024 has begun. That's 30 days of fasting for Muslims from sunrise to sunset. The government has said all offices work a shorter day - six hours instead of eight. Traffic gets unpredictable as rush hour changes. It was great then when G came home slightly earlier, as her work day is also shorter. The kids now have 35-minute periods.

The big thing today was to get a card to Diane to post for us in the UK. We walked over to her to drop it off and then should have walked to the post office to check the box, but I could tell I wasn't up to it, so we meandered our way back through Karama and came across this super coffee shop! It's just what tourists need. It's only been open since July, so they are still establishing themselves. We had to support them, of course, so stopped for a cold drink.
