I Witness

Abstract Thursday ...

... Jacobsburg State Park.

As promised today was even nicer than yesterday  ... which was just posted now.

After spending the morning and afternoon as home simply enjoying the nice warm temps (mid 70's!) we headed out to Jacobsburg State Park again.  R was able to take off early from work so we got an early start to our night out.  We wanted to go back to the vernal pool to see if the wood frogs had arrived yet ... they hadn't!

Since there were no frogs to photograph at the vernal pool we had time to kill before getting our picnic supper from the local deli.  We used the time to walk along the Sobers Run Trail within Jacobsburg.  It was so nice just being out in the gorgeous weather.

After our walk we stopped at the frog pond in the Native Plant Garden and then Richard went to pick up our dinner.  We ate in the pavilion nearby the garden ... which is our normal picnic dinner spot!

As I was waiting for R to get back with our food these two young women arrived at the park.  Both were wearing beautiful sundresses ... although I don't think it was warm enough for those! The one on the left was carrying a Nikon camera and was taking pictures of the other one.  They were both lovely young ladies.  I've added a slight illustrator look to this photo to soften it a bit.

We made one quick stop on the way home so I could pick up some cabbage for our Saturday or Sunday meal.  Overall it was a fantastic day!

Backblipped ... on the Ides of March.
