Celebration

We drove down to Dunedin today as a special treat for MrMacD’s birthday.   The one excellent restaurant in Oamaru isn’t open on a Sunday or Monday, so we decided a trip to Dunedin was called for.

We’ve had sunshine and blue sky and it’s very still.  There appear to be lots of students celebrating St Patrick’s Day, which is quite funny in a very Scottish city.

We had an excellent meal at The Press Club and my daughter had paid for a bottle of wine, which was an unexpected surprise.  MrMacD chose a St Emilion, which was delicious.

And, apologies, I still haven’t dipped into blip journals or replied to comments.  Thank you for all the stars, they are very much appreciated.
