Balloons

Today started off by helping our German workshop facilitator try to decipher Portuguese scrawl on the feedback forms. Much harder than it sounds, but we slogged through and she commenced her journey back to the northern hemisphere.

I moved hotels to where I will be able to stay for the next couple of weeks whilst I work from our Maputo office. Peckish, someone knocked on the door with wonderful timing proffering some welcome snacks and a plate of fresh fruit. This set the afternoon off well. Late afternoon morphed into pool relaxation, which drifted into napping.

I found out today that in Swahili, the word for balloons is maputo. Quite comical.
