Celandines

At last, not exactly bright and sunny as much as grey and dry, but absolutely perfect for an afternoon in the garden. Several hours spent chopping up and bagging laurel branches. Four large and four huge garden waste bags of laurel ready for the waste disposal centre; another couple of bags full should see the job finished, thank goodness! Just after 4.00pm the rain started, but by then I was ready to come indoors anyway.

MrM was playing at an early St Patrick's gig this evening.

Cut back a shrub in the front garden a week or two ago, and some celandines have since come through in the newly created space. A welcome, if small, patch of colour.
