THE LUCK OF THE IRISH

HAPPY ST PATRICK'S DAY TO ALL IRISH BLIPPERS WHEREVER YOU ARE.

A good day today.  Went over to Mum's to take some shopping we had got for her.  Had a good chat and lunch.

On the way home this afternoon we decided to stop along the Prom near the Stone Jetty.  The weather was so lovely compared to what it's been like that we parked up.  Went to pay the parking fee when some lovely young man said we are just going and there is quite a bit of time left on this ticket would you like it - well yes please - how kind is that!!!

We then walked towards the RNLI shop, got tempted to go inside as we have always supported the RNLI. bought a couple  of items to support their 200 centenary, then walked on down the Stone Jetty.  Took several photos, went into the Stpne Jetty Cafe just for coffee.  Never been in there before and it was actually quite nice.  Nicely laid out and the staff friendly and helpful.  It was quite busy but not overly so.

On the way back to the car we bumped into Connie the Irish Wolf Hound here.  Apparently she had just been in a St Patrick's Day Parade with those lovely Shamrock deely head boppers I just had to take a photo.  I did get permission first and her humans were more than happy for her to have her photo taken.  She is a big softy apparently.  She certainly enjoyed a cuddle and the attention.  As I was taking this a German Shepherd and its owners were just coming up to say hello and she was so interested in meeting another dog that I was soon  forgotten, of course!!!!

Now home and going to settle down to watch The Footage Detectives and later on Death in Paradise.

Anyway that is all from me for today.  Do take care everyone and stay safe  and I will see you all tomorrow, although I do have a very busy day.
