George Square Crocus

We  parked in George Square for church today as our usual route was closed, so I had the opportunity of catching these crocus for blip. It's something of a 'last hurrah' for them; the display along the Meadows has been disappointing for Sunday Morning drive-by photos, the blooms being closed in the dreary weather and their leaves are starting to obscure the flower heads.
