Mid century happiness

Busy Saturday.  We did various jobs around the house, preparing for our friends to come and stay at Easter.  Stripped the spare bed, and sorted out all the bedding.  I also opened up a couple of old pillows and added some of the stuffing to a few of our cushions, and to my current pillow - been wanting to do that for ages.  Tim also put our clock up on the wall.

This afternoon, we took delivery of our beautiful new (second hand) sideboard, and spent ages transferring the TV, etc, to it, and sorting all the cables.  It's one year older than me, and quite frankly in much better condition.  We love it! 

Had a very cosy evening with our new set-up (including the new lamp).  George Clooney made an appearance as we were on our way to bed, so he sneaked into my photo too.
