Tuesday

It became quite warm in parts of today.

Usual morning spent walking. Home in time to have a sandwich before meeting Jo at 1pm.

Though Clive would prefer to continue working in the bathroom, he came into the cutting to dig out lots of earth for Jo's steps.

We did very well. Besides putting in more steps, we prepped the parts so our next session should produce more fairly quickly.

Unfortunately, the slope beneath Jo's garden has been used as a dump by previous owners and we continue to dig up building waste. We may be able to make use of it and plan to responsibly dispose of surplus at the local recycling centre.

It's exhausting work and we are pleased with progress so far.

All but 2 hedgehogs had trashed their living quarters today. They kept me very busy. Some will be ready to return to where ever it was they originated. Provided it remains mild. (Extra)
