Unexpected surprise!

Bought this book secondhand for LBB15 (the library didn't have this particular one of the series which was a bit annoying - they have all the others). Started it last night and was surprised when I opened it and saw that it was signed! Didn't pay very much for it and it said nothing on the blurb about it being signed by the author - bonus!

I've tentatively started learning amigurumi (it's a cute Japanese crochet thing) this evening. Just about getting my head around it. Got in a right tangle at first making a "magic ring" and then crocheting into it. Working on a ball at the moment - perhaps it will be tomorrow's Blip ;-)
