Little Brown Job

Dunnocks are shy little birds that usually creep about in the undergrowth to get to the bird table where they'll bravely stand their ground. I think it's probably a male and his desire for a mate makes him sit up there singing his heart out. I asked Marian to keep him there while I went to get the camera and blow me, he was still there when I came back and fitted the long lens.

I think they're lovely little birds.
