Natural Beauties

There is a row of houses near me which are built on a slope. The front gardens sit almost 2m above the pavement, behind a 45 degree bank.

Many owners go to the huge effort of mowing the 10m strip of bank in front of their house, but a few only cut them once or twice a year, so there are outcrops of wild flowers flourishing in their natural environment. I caught these just as the sunlight was fading and left the photo as it was ... natural.

Thanks to BikerBear / Anni for giving us the prompt to appreciate flowers at least once a week.

A busy day with mechanical tasks: overhauling the brakes on the motorbike, cleaning a few bicycles after recent muddy rides, and changing the wipers on the car.

Happy weekend everybody.
