GenuineBlip

Il Giardino da Genina

I dashed out to the yard to catch a blip as the raindrops started falling and the sun was setting.  The Santa Rosa plum is flowering, red leaves are bursting out of the heavily pruned Cotinus, the Navel orange tree is laden with fruit...spring has arrived and the garden is happy with all the rain.  Oh, and Dove Daddy is here too, walking about the garden, cooing and missing his family. My heart breaks.  I thought I saw Mama Dove earlier today, but I think the babies are history.  I looked it up online - crows do indeed dine on baby doves!  Death is part of life in the garden.  (Beware, gophers!)
