The Pensioner

A pleasant drive finds us in Knaresborough. I’d never been before - and there’s so much of historical interest. A castle, and river, and plaques aplenty - Edward II, Cromwell, James I & VI, oh yes I could go on. Having said that, the main street is a bit shabby, the pubs looked well rank, and there are sooo many nail bars - you know what that means. Yep, people there like getting their nails done I guess.
