Lunch Spot

Today 9 members of the walking group drove to the end of Stevenson Road, and walked along the Clutha River downstream.  It was lovely and sheltered amongst the trees, but where we sat for lunch was very windy!

I walked just over 10k steps or about 8 k's.  Quite far enough for one day.  The extras missed the cut.  (1)  The Willow trees are just changing colour, while (2) the Poplars are mostly green.

We had a welcome cuppa and slice at a local cafe before heading for home.  Another lovely walk with good friends.
