A Tinge of Colour

This morning I walked down the hill to have a cuppa and scone with the church ladies.  I walked home via the lake, it was very windy, but sunny.  Some of the trees are turning golden.

For the next 10 days I have family coming to help my sister celebrate her 80th birthday.  The guests start arriving tomorrow.  They are coming from Melbourne, Gisborne, Wellington and Taumarunui.  We will have 9 for dinner!!

This weekend Wanaka is hosting an Air Show called 'Warbirds Over Wanaka.'  There was a plane out practicing this afternoon, so I got the extra photo from the front of my house.
