Passion

Despite the wet and relatively cold weather the passion flower plant just outside the back door bloomed today - or at least one flower.

I wouldn't have been there to see it but our departure on holiday yesterday was disrupted by a no show by our taxi and we're stuck in Belgium for two more days before escaping to Halkidiki in northern Greece.

I suppose one should be thankful for small mercies...
