Sylvania House

Gloriously sunny day but with a bitingly cold wind. Went to see B/C and the babies in London for Ivy’s birthday but the main character was not feeling well and didn’t really get involved and had to go back to bed.   This was the moment of introducing her to Sylvanian Families and i thought a house was a good starting point.  I know children go mad for it although we never had it when ours were growing up.  Ivy missed out really but Leo adored playing with it.   He was, with the leading lady out of action really given chance to shine and was very interactive with all of us, and with next door’s cat who came to visit. 

Trains up and down included replacement bus service and so it was a longer day than needed.  Dog welcomed us with joy and we had cheese and biscuits and watched another episode of Shogun.
