Mono Monday: Cylinder

When I saw the theme for Mono Monday I remembered my old 'Mamod' steam engine from my childhood.  It is still out in the garage but hasn't been fired up in many years, and is now looking decidedly rusty.  Fine for a blip though; this is the steam cylinder that in turn rotates the crankshaft; I had it attached to a rudimentary Meccano frame so that it could be driven along.  All good in theory, but it needed a belt to transfer the movement from the crankshaft to the wheels and, from memory, I could never get it to work!
