Female Siskin

A plump female siskin has the sunflower feeder to herself for a change.  She seems to be building herself up for the effort ahead.  She kept coming back to feed on the scraps caught by the saucer we have added to the feeder to prevent food dropping on the ground and attracting rats.

A quiet day after the enjoyment of the weekend.  Plenty of images are popping up on social media of the wedding day.  Oh so different from the past when images couldn't be shared so easily and quickly.
