Quod oculus meus videt

Rowton Castle

The morning after the day before.  I'd woken early, as usual and took a short walk around the grounds.  I managed to put the drone up so I'd got an aerial of the castle just as the sun rose behind it.

Breakfast was a unique affair with our table having two Mr and Mrs Lloyds and even more unusually, Two Mr and Mrs Collings.  Not sure that is likely to happen a gain for a long time.

Everyone went their own ways afterwards.  We headed down to Church Stretton and had a walk up Ashes Hollow, a favourite family location from the past.  To create a circular route I noticed a path that traversed the side of one of the hills, which led us to a fantastic path overlooking one of the other valleys with views south to Ludlow and later north to Care Caradoc and the other eastern hills.

On the way home we were going past old friends' home and popped in to surprise them.
