Spring concert

It turns out P5/6 have a Spring Concert that starts at 6pm and this was today - one of those leftfield surprises that get sprung on you with only a week or so of notice.

Well there wasn't much point in coming home after fencing so we just left CyclopsJnr in after school club until the concert. A long day and a late dinner!

Parents' cyclops came in for the concert. CyclopsJnr didn't have a promoted role but was involved in parts where everyone sung. He seemed to enjoy himself.

It was a bittersweet occasion as the well-liked Headteacher is leaving at the end of term, which is Thursday. Some nice words were said to him in a presentation at the end, and it felt as if the parents would have just kept clapping and clapping indefinitely if we weren't eventually shushed.
