Same birthday

A lovely sunny morning. I watched the sunrise from my bedroom window listening to the birds singing.
After breakfast we had a slow journey to Riverside country park between Rainham and Gillingham. The tide was out and it was quite blowy and cold in exposed areas. We had a walk to see the boat wrecks. Lots of pigeons nesting on the wrecks which must stay above the water level when the tide comes in.
We went to Elms Court Garden Centre for lunch. The roads on the way were terrible , full of pot holes and most of the road surface had disappeared.
I had the vegetable curry, Mum had a Jacket potato with prawns, Mike had Ham egg and chips and David had Cod Goujons with mushy pies and chips. All very good !
We looked at the Reptile area. Fascinating , some amazing creatures, some very well camouflaged.
In the afternoon;we went to see my Auntie Sue and Uncle Fred. Our birthdays are tomorrow. A Sue had put some candles on a cake which we had trouble blowing out lol.U Fred had made some jam tarts with lemon pastry , yum.
Had a good natter and then home just before Paul arrived for tea :)
