Industrial Snaw Hills

It snowed overnight, woke up to a white landscape.  The sun has been shining all day, and a chilly gentle breeze at times.  Most of the snow gone this evening, clear cold skies.

Up early, chores done around the house.  Headed out for walkies.  Popped along Madeline's for a cuppa before lunch.  Mam, Laura and Elise came along in the afternoon.  I made Laura a birthday cuppa, and a surprise of 100 (or so) snowdrops.  Met friend Julie for walkies this evening.  A quiet evening at home, early to bed.

As you may be aware, I do love a good dump of snow, but generally over the official winter months. Heading into spring, I'd rather see the back of such weather, but I headed out for a nosy all the same.  Most of the snow covered the central mainland, deepest on the hills.  Thankfully lower lying snow had thawed, fingers crossed no more for my early morning commute.  Not even a snow scene can help make this monstrosities look any nicer, and they really have shrunk the hills around here.  Taken at Fern, Grunnafirth, North Nesting.
