Stairs

The back stairs at work have got some lovely texture on the risers where boots have lest their scuff marks!

I was doing a late duty tonight and, as it’s now out of term time and the library was closing at 7pm, I had to do the locking up too. Not something I’ve ever done before and not something I feel qualified to do, but hey ho! Apart from a small problem with setting the alarm and someone leaving their laptop and all their belongings behind (we think they thought the closing warning alarm was a fire alarm and left in a hurry), I think no-one was locked in and the building was left secure. Just hope I won’t ever be asked to do that again!
