An Aldi in the Making

The steel framework is up. Lorries are on site moving ballast and sand. Traffic lights on Trueway Drive impeded Cecily so we went back via Fairway Road meeting Michael on his scooter, looking a lot more frail than when I last saw him. He'd lost Jolene, his dog, on April 27th last year and is missing her terribly.

It was a lovely morning, balmy in the sunshine but rain set in by 5 pm. We trekked to Dobbies for our monthly free drink and ham, eggs and chips, calling in at Beacon Hill bottom for Basil to have another run.

First meeting of the smartphone photography course with Brendan Ó Sé tonight. He knows his stuff.

Extra shows the sycamore tree at the end of Fairway Road coming into leaf. I have a dreadful fear that the land beyond the fence is to be built on.
