Bush Hawk XP

The day started off wet again, but improved after lunch and we were able to go out and enjoy the delights of the waterfront at Parry Sound.

Anne got a good shot of a young lad who had just caught his third fish, we both got shots of the Georgian Bay Airways aircraft taxying out across the water ready for take off.

This one was left at the dock, and is a Bush Hawk XP made by Found Aircraft here in Parry Sound. As far as I am aware its probably the first of them that I've seen. Looks a pretty rugged plane to me, and is probably ideally suited for this sort of environment. I guess, but haven't checked, that it can also have the floats removed and be operated with wheels or even skis in the winter.
