Multiple alarms went off at 3:30 AM. “WAKE UP!!” The iPhones 11 & 14 shout in unison, along with the clock radio which actually started the cacaphony. “OK” we groggily shout back even though we never really went to sleep. A last minute decision was to photograph pages of interest from the 2 guidebooks on Umbria instead of adding extra weight to my already heavy load.
