A Fond Farewell

The aged aunt's funeral went as smoothly as such occasions can. Proud of Mr PP who hit exactly the right note in his well delivered address. Our son, too, hit perfect notes with his musical tribute on hand-pan. The musical Aunt S would have loved it, as she did, indeed, in life. The crem was packed, a tribute to the outgoing nature of S and her big family.

(Tummy behaved. Head behaved. Throat behaved. Thanks for all your good wishes - they worked.)

It's rained heavily for most of the day. One very brief instance of sunshine, when we returned from the funeral: the approving aunt's blessing, of course! RIP, S.
