Sparkling high tide

During a family breakfast at Stones, the sun was glinting on the high tide at Weston-super-Mare. Soon afterwards, our son set off back to his north London home. After coffee, we made our way home to Lincolnshire, but taking it very steady. Fantastic cloudscapes en route (see Extras) and a rainbow that at one point formed a full arc, but mostly offered one vivid end with a paler echo.

So now we're ready for bed though it's too early yet! Tomorrow our son will be on the road again, but with daughter-in-law and Bug Pugglesworth, visiting us for the Easter weekend and Mr PP's birthday. Hope we'll get fresh reserves of energy overnight! (Little Miss B, who broke up from school yesterday, has been poorly and slept all today, apparently. We will have to see what tomorrow brings! Fingers crossed that she bounces back!)
