River Dee at Kirkcudbright

Today's the day ........................ for big skies

Eventually a lovely bright and breezy day - although still with that cold wind to keep temperatures down.  This was how things looked down at the harbour in Kirkcudbright by mid-afternoon.  Still lots of water everywhere - but sunshine and big skies too.

We have Tessa and Josie with us for the night.  Then the rest of the family will follow to spend the Easter weekend here, which will be lovely.  There are plans for several activities - including, of course, an Easter Egg hunt ..........................
