Good Friday

Josh really isn't well, he's caught whatever the cough/cold virus is that's been circulating between us. Luca has a version of it too.
So Ruth and I took both boys up to the farm at High Riggs, hoping that he'd have a proper rest in a quiet house. Ruth had some weekend jobs to do there, and we both thought an early Easter egg hunt would work too (she'll be away on Easter Sunday morning, a long-planned commitment).
We arrived in a deluge. But the skies soon cleared, so all was well for the egg hunt.
It felt poignant too, as Ruth only has a few weeks left to work at High Riggs. She loves the place, as I do. But the management problems in the organisation that runs it are just intractable;  Ruth, in particular, has tried hard to get them resolved but without success. Josh has already moved on to part-time work elsewhere, while he sets about starting a small vegetable-growing business. Ruth is lining up some part-time work too, and is applying to do a Masters in Art Therapy in the coming year.
So it's all change.
The main shows Eben peering into one of the polytunnels, with seedlings coming up well. The extra shows them both with their collection of chocolate eggs. You can see how saturated the ground is too, on this normally well-drained hillside.
Hope you'll all have a good Easter weekend.
