B actually volunteered to come out for a drive this lovely morning, which included refreshments (second breakfast) sitting in the sunshine at the café of the Heugh Battery Museum and a visit to our local antiques/secondhand/bric-a-brac/junk emporium where I spotted this pair.
When we got home the door to the coat and shoe cupboard under the stairs had decided it was no longer going to open so I had to dismantle the handle which was worn completely out of shape internally. I'm just off to buy a new one.
