Swallowtail

A chance sighting today of a Swallowtail butterfly. It looked wonderful and healthy and I only managed this one decent photograph of it. After the rain and winds of past days I was astounded to see it. The wild flower the butterfly is on is a Reseda, also know as the mignonette, a fragrant herbacious plant with tiny white flowers.

I hope your Easter weekend has started well and there is some sunshine, wherever you are.
