Ffenestr llun

Ffenestr llun ~ Picture window

“… did you too learn that secret from the river: that there is no time? … It is this what you mean, isn’t it: that the river is everywhere at once, at the source and at the mouth, at the waterfall, at the ferry, at the rapids, in the sea, in the mountains, everywhere at once … and that there is only the present time for it, not the shadow of the past, not the shadow of the future?”

― Hermann Hesse

Un o bleserau teithio ar cludiant cyhoeddus yw gweld y cefn gwlad fel mae'n cyflymu heibio. Dych chi'n gallu ymlacio a gwylio'r lluniau symudol trwy'r ffenestri. Mae'n cyfle i werthfawrogi'r harddwch neu hylltra diddorol o'r lle lle rydyn ni'n byw.

Rydw i'n bob tro gweld y golygfa o'r aber rhwng Caerdydd a gorllewin Cymru ac un dydd rydw i'n gobeithio archwilio'r lle fy hun.

Ond dim heddiw. Heddiw rydyn ni'n mynd i Gaerfyrddin a mynd ymlaen i Drefach Felindre ac yn y diwedd i Drala Jong.

Mae Nor'dzin yn mynd ar enciliad a Samten fi yn mynd i weithio ar y tir.

Cyrhaeddon ni yng Nghaerfyrddin gyda awr a hanner cyn bws i Ddrefach Felindre, felly aethon ni i'r dre. Ffeindio'n ni bwyty ‘Cegin Myrddin’ a phrynu cinio yna.

Yna aethon ni i'r orsaf bws i aros am y 460 i Drefach Felindre. Roedd hi’n daith arferol drwy’r ffyrdd bychain ac yn aros mewn mannau dirgel lle nad oedd arwydd o safle bws, ond mae’r gyrrwr a’r bobl leol yn gwybod.

Pan cyrhaeddon ni yn Nrefach Felindre roedd rhaid Nor'dzin yn mynd yn syth i Drala Jong. Bydda i'n mynd yna yfory.

One of the joys of travelling on public transport is seeing the countryside as it speeds past. You can relax and watch the moving pictures through the windows. It is an opportunity to appreciate the interesting beauty or ugliness of the place where we live.

I always see the view from the estuary between Cardiff and west Wales and one day I hope to explore the place myself.

But not today. Today we go to Carmarthen and go on to Trefach Felindre and finally to Drala Jong.

Nor'dzin is going on retreat and Samten I go to work on the land.

We arrived in Carmarthen with an hour and a half before the bus to Drefach Felindre, so we went into town. We found the 'Cegin Myrddin' restaurant and bought lunch there.

We then went to the bus station to wait for the 460 to Drefach Felindre. It was the usual journey through the small roads and stopping at mysterious places where there was no sign of a bus stop, but the driver and local people know. When we arrived at Drefach Felindre Nor'dzin had to go straight to Drala Jong. I will go there tomorrow.
