After yesterday's disappointment, I am glad that we had a successful day in London today.
We couldn't book Hamilton again, and we were busy in the evening so decided to go and see the matinee showing of Wicked instead. It was really enjoyable! Before that, Katya wanted to do a bit of shopping, so we headed first to the Lego shop where she couldn't resist buying herself something - she's a bit Lego obsessed... Then off to Carnaby Street,  then an ice-cream break, and we walked to Victoria where the theatre is, via Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace, arriving in plenty of time for a quick lunch before the show.
After the show, we went to Brick Lane where the Lego exhibition "The art of the brick" was held (clever). I am not into Lego at all but it was well done..
We rounded off the day with a lovely meal in Chinatown. Funnily we ended up chatting to the guy sitting at the table next to ours, who is a graphic designer working for Lego! He was showing Katya photos of his latest projects and she was clearly interested...What were the chances?
