Another job done

This morning a lovely couple whom we met on the garden trip to Dunedin came for morning coffee and stayed for a couple of hours.  We really like them and enjoyed their company.  They were very impressed with the house, which was pleasing.

The carpet/vinyl layer came this afternoon, repaired the bits of carpet that needed repairing after removing the fireplace and laid the vinyl in MrMacD’s “man cave” downstairs, so that’s one more thing marked off the list.

It’s been a cold, grey, very still day again and quite drizzly at times.  It cleared up, though, in time for us to go to the North Otago Garden Club’s monthly meeting.  We walked there and back so got some exercise, which we were pleased about.

As we walked back from the garden club meeting we noticed this house all lit up, which was very fortunate because otherwise I wouldn’t have had a blip.
