Meet Vine the weasel!

A typical, for the UK, very wet Bank Holiday Monday but we have had three fine days over the Easter weekend - a record?but it looks like it was fine in Bath.
For some reason Eda got a weasel for Easter, ( Jude wanted a unicorn egg so she got a unicorn as well as an egg). Eda loves all animals and anything furry. She has called this one Vine, Vine weasel! ( If you grow Fuchsias you will know all about these - vine weevils!)) We thought it was very funny. Today she has taken it for a bike ride in the park so she and Vine are my blip!

Another joy this morning, being the 1st April, I changed my calendars. I love the little desk calendars from the Wee Calendar company and the one for Scotland’s Far North West opened to the sight of Achnahaird Beach and the Coigach mountains. We’ll be there in just over a month, in fact we got the key last week. This will be our view so hopefully we’ll share the real view with you then.
I also have one for Shetland and a lovely Angela Harding calendar that I received for Christmas. That is showing a Curlew which is something we shall certainly hear and hopefully see when we are there. Got a Walk the Highlands e-mail today too always helpful with planning
Amazingly it’s three years today since the family moved into their Bailbrook house above Bath.
Time moves on.
