Bird in the Bush

I was standing listening to a bird in a bush singing, trying to work out what it was. It did not reveal itself. Blackcap? Garden Warbler ? It sounded as if it was practicing its song, not yet prepared to come out and give a public performance. I probably looked a little foolish just standing there.

The wren was not so shy and gave me a brief performance. The little bird with the big voice.
