Grandma's Footstool

Quite late in her long life my maternal grandmother took up tapestry. I have a few of her cushions, a bell pull made especially for me and this footstool. It is rarely used and it's a bit bashed up but the cover is all her own work. I've brought it out today because my friend with the new knee is coming here for coffee. I don't know if a footstool is any help to her but it's ready if she feels it might offer a bit of comfort.

I made some oaty biscuits last night so they're ready for coffee time. Another neighbour might join us to make a party.

Later on I will have to pop out for a bit of shopping.

Premium bonds aren't drawn till tomorrow this month. It keeps the dream alive.
