Exhilarate.

First day proper of the school holidays so I took the boys to Tynninghame beach for a picnic. Of all East Lothian's beaches Tynninghame may be my favourite. If you start off on the eastern side and walk round the point into Belhaven Bay the geography changes every couple of hundred yards. You can't help but be struck by nature and her forces here; forces that create beauty and forces that could crush us and all our clever machines in an instant.

As soon as we stepped down onto the beach I caught this photo. I took a lot more photos but once I saw this one I knew my work was done for the day.
