Good Friday

Left for Phil & Sam's with FK at 8.15am. We're only staying overnight so wanted to make the most of the day with them.
We got there just before 10am in time for coffee. Met the new Greyhound, 'Goose'. He's a big lad, and wouldn't leave our sides once we'd shown him some affection. They've not had him long, so is still getting used to people fussing him.
Went over to the Ashford Retail Outlet to see Connor who works at Tommy Hillfiger. He suits the job and is a great salesperson. We all took advantage of Connors 50% off! Phil then treated us for lunch at Comptoir Libanais...halloumi, flatbread, salad, labneh yumminess. 
Back home for a cuppa while FK and M had a teenager kip! We then walked to their local, The Chequers. No sign of Paul Hollywood who's married to the Landlady and is often seen propping up the bar. There was a good crowd and atmosphere...they'd all been for a 10mile walk....one of them is in training for part of the Camino de Santiago in June. The toilet roll holder caught my eye when I went to the loo, so then went back with my camera!
Goose was close by my side again when we got back for dinner. It's been a lovely comfortable day.
