Blue Sky, White Ice, Blue water

We were in town today for various errands. Amongst other things Jan was at the dentist while I was booking the camper van in for a service and the fixing of a minor dinge.
I also took a walk along the North Sound, eventually getting out onto the floating breakwater that separates the harbour from the open sea.  It was bitingly cold even though the sun was shining brightly. There was an icy north wind blowing onto my back as I looked south into town and took this picture.
Then I turned around, into the wind, and took the first extra, looking north, across the open sea.The second extra is taken inside the harbour, looking across to a small ice breaker, now used a training ship for students aiming to work in shipping. The ship is named "Polstjärnan", The Pole Star.
Come evening time it was the final meeting of FilmStudio and we finished of with the Norwegian film "Hope" about a family dealing with a terminal cancer diagnosis. The link goes to a Peter Bradshaw (Guardian) review. I thought it a very moving film, not as dark as it sounds, though not exactly feel good stuff. HarlingDarling wrote a little more about the day and the film.
