Coronation clipping

Met Ali for lunch today at Leeds Castle and took in an old Daily Mirror newspaper dating back to Queen Elizabeth II’s Coronation. The newspaper was passed onto me by a friend who was given the paper from her 96 year old Nan.

Ali is going to see if the Curator would like to put the paper in the Castle somewhere. If not she’s passing it back to me and I’ll see if the village history society want it.

Lovely to catch up with Ali but sad to hear of all the disruptions with her job role going back to part time. We agreed to plan a trip to London soon to visit a museum or gallery as something to look forward to.
