Axe

Suddenly the mild temperature came back, in a few of hours it changed from a few plus degrees to ten and the weekend can be much warmer than that. For me, that means changing tyres and hopefully spending some more time outdoors than usual. 

My wood-splitting knife lost its blade so I'm making a new shaft to a small axe I found some time ago. Firewood can be used for other things besides burning too, I found a piece of ash in my woodpile that had just the right  shape and size. It'll make a fabulous wood splitting and carpentry axe I think, all I have to do is to shape it as well as I can.
