Linguine

A day of mixed emotions. On the positive Himself and I booked an amazing trip for our sabbatical; three weeks up the west coast of America and Canada (San Francisco - Seattle - Vancouver Island - Whistler - Vancouver). On the less so, the BiL has been readmitted to hospital after a couple of days of outpatient treatment  with a bowel blockage that they may need to operate on. Not what anyone wants or needs let alone with the added pressure of the funeral next week. Himself and I will go and see him tomorrow.

To get out of the house we tried a new (ish) restaurant not far from home. It was very very good, especially the seafood linguine (see extra)!
