A two train day

In the morning we visited Lake Bala and rode the Bala Lake Railway. Steam powered on a 600mm track.
Then on to Llangollen for lunch and heavy rain. We then took the Llangollen Railway, in steam, from Langollen to Corwen and back. Corwen station has been a long term project for this preserved railway. The new platform and station buildings are complete as is a large car park. This makes Corwen a promising tourist destination.
